WHO: For the local children’s ministry leader

WHAT: A one-day gathering with other leaders in your area for training, encouragement, and connection.

WHY: Because the kids and families you lead are worth investing in your leadership + you shouldn’t do ministry alone

WHEN & WHERE: That’s up to you! Check out our upcoming events below and if you don’t see a KLG near you, consider hosting one for your area.

“KLG was a productive day of networking with likeminded KidMin leaders, where we could share ideas, improve leadership skills in all areas of life and be encouraged in the ministry where we serve.” Allyson, South Carolina KLG 2023

“Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to attend this and learn with other leaders in this niche field. I came away with more friends, ideas, and hope.” Ally, Georgia KLG 2023

“I was so encouraged to attend this event! Joy, Brittany, and Vanessa did a wonderful job of keeping the day moving at a good pace without stalling or pushing it too hard. The content was spot on and the fellowship was encouraging too! I’ll definitely be back!” Matt, South Carolina KLG 2023

Is there a registration deadline?

Space is limited for each unique event, based on the venue location and capacity. When each event reaches capacity, registration will be closed. If space allows, we plan to leave registration open until the Thursday before (1 week before) the event. If you know you plan to come, we encourage you to register sooner rather than later!

What should I bring?

Something to take notes with (computer, pen and paper, etc.), your creativity, and any children’s ministry resources/supplies you’d like to get rid of. There will be a “Share & Take” table. It’s a fun way for you to pass along left-over craft supplies, books, and anything else that might help someone in their world of ministry to kids. This is a great way to tidy up your office or supply closet! Whether you bring something or not, you’ll definitely want to stop by that table and see what you might give a new home and put to use.

What should I wear?

We’re a casual group, and it’s a casual day, so wear whatever you feel comfortable and casual in!

Is lunch provided?

Yes! And we’ll have something for everyone, despite allergy needs. The exact menu will be sent to all attendees prior to the event day and varies by location. If you have food allergies, be sure to list those on your registration form.

Is it really only one day?

Yes, but we encourage you to consider making it a whole retreat with the chance to get away. Whether you spend the night before so that you don’t have to travel early that morning OR spend the night after to process through all that you’ve heard and experienced before returning to real life, you will be glad to have gifted yourself with that extra time!

Can I bring my team?

We’d love for you to help spread the word to other local children’s ministry leaders in your area, and you’re welcome to bring your key leaders or volunteers. Each person attending needs their own purchased ticket.

Is my ticket refundable?

Due to the size and logistics of this particular event, tickets are not refundable, but they are transferable. If you discover that you are not able to attend, simply find someone else to take your place and send us an email with their info so that we will be expecting them.

I have more questions. Who should I contact?
