Children’s missions education has been my passion since I was a young girl living overseas as a missionary kid (now called TCK). With my own eyes, I saw what it meant to live and breathe missions and have desired since that moment for all children to have that same feeling. With that experience, a background in elementary education, as well as children’s Christian education, I have developed an equal love for helping children dig deeper into God’s Word and His plan for them to tell others about Him.
I have been a long-time lay children’s ministry volunteer in churches in Tennessee, teaching a variety of grades from 1st grade to 5th grade. I have also served on the state level as a children’s missions advocate for the Tennessee Baptist WMU, as well as a TN state missions trainer for VBS. I currently serve at a church right outside of Atlanta, GA, in children’s missions education.
