Easter is filled with so many symbols and traditions, and sometimes, it can be hard to stay focused on the reason we celebrate Easter: Jesus! This resource is designed to help families explore common symbols of Easter and connect them to Jesus. It’s a great way to recognize the different traditions families might have (Easter Bunny, eggs, etc.) while keeping Christ at the center of all Easter celebrations.
Over a week (suggested use during Holy Week, but could happen over a longer period of time), children will open one egg each day and add the symbol found in the egg to the cross printable included in their kit. At the end of the week, they will have a decorated cross with Easter symbols that remind them of Jesus.
