Elementary kids today learn by doing, not just listening. If you ask them to be passive listeners in your teaching times, they will disconnect. In a world where attention spans are shorter and the very fabric of our brains are being re-wired, finding new and creative ways to engage kids with God’s Word can be challenging.
In this online interactive workshop, we will dig deep into how today’s kids learn, specifically at the elementary level, and we’ll brainstorm and share ideas for interactive teaching that increases attention, understanding, and retention in both large-group and small-group settings. We’ll explore and practice simple interactive teaching strategies that keep kids’ attention and help truth stick.
Happening Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 1-2:30pm EST via Zoom. Note: If you can’t attend live, your registration includes access to the replay of the workshop, which is emailed out after the live workshop takes place.
Before the workshop, you will need to gather a few simple things: (1) Workshop Workbook PDF (we provide it for you!), (2) your answers to the “Before” Questions in the workbook, and (3) something to take notes with.
