These Advent cards follow the big story of Scripture from creation to the birth of Jesus, highlighting God’s faithfulness and His plan for a Savior. The cards begin with the story of creation on December 1 and end with the wise men on December 24. Families can read the selected Scripture each day, or there’s a version that includes specific references to the stories found in Sally Lloyd-Jones’ Jesus Storybook Bible for each day.
Each day includes an individual double-sided card with a weekly scripture memory verse, family discussion questions, big picture thought for the day, Bible passages where the story is found, and prayer. Several days contain additional activities for families to complete.
You can print these cards in-house or have them professionally printed, then share with your families to help them prepare their hearts for the birth of our Savior.

I think these cards will be great for our families with young kids. They are simple and should be easy for the families to use since they do not require much, if any, preparation. I printed them and put them on a ring so families can just flip to a new card each day.

I’m excited to use these this year with my church families. It is a great tool for them to slow down and spend time with God as they prepare to celebrate our Savior’s birth. The questions, thought for the day and weekly memory verses will bring the families closer to God. We encourage the kids to read their Bibles and this will certainly help.
