The Christmas season doesn’t have to leave you stressed and stretched thin, especially if you start planning in October! In this 90-minute online workshop, you’ll learn how to make your December in children’s ministry meaningful and manageable by focusing on the people, the events, and the message of Christmas. And because we’re starting early, you won’t just gather ideas for December; you’ll actually begin planning for it.
Walk away with practical systems, creative ideas, and a Christmas plan you can start putting into motion now so you can head into the Christmas season with more clarity, purpose, and peace.
We’ll talk about creative and simple strategies to care for your people, plan your events, and share the message of Christmas with joy. Together, we’ll look at three key focus areas (the People, the Events, and the Message) and talk through simple systems and sustainable strategies to help you lead well without burning out.
You’ll learn how to make the most of your people (volunteers, families, and guests), simplify your December calendar, work backward from your Christmas events to identify what needs to happen now, and share the Christmas story in creative, meaningful ways with kids and families. Plus, during our Idea Swap time, you’ll get to share and hear ideas from other kidmin leaders!
Most importantly, you’ll have built-in time throughout the workshop to stop, think, and apply what we’re talking about. Instead of leaving with a notebook full of ideas you may or may not use, you’ll leave with clear next steps for October and November that will make December easier.
