In this ~60-minute lesson, kids will learn that the church is more than just a building. It’s the people who follow Jesus! In the Bible reading of Ephesians 2:19-22, kids will discover that believers are like living stones that God is building together, and Jesus Christ is the cornerstone who holds everything together.
We will talk about how being part of the church means we belong to God’s family and we have an important role: loving Jesus, encouraging one another, and doing good for others. Just like the moon reflects the sun’s light, Christians reflect Jesus’ love and light to the world around them.
DisciPals curriculum includes a low-supply-need game, worship suggestions, a scripted Bible time/Bible Story, Memory Verse of the Week (MVOTW), and a low-supply craft idea. This is designed to be an easy-to-use “plug-and-play” format lesson.
