I discovered this website over the summer and just HAD to make sure you knew about it! Bible Games Central is a website full of super fun FREE Bible games that help teach Christian truths! If you ever need an extra game for a lesson or for an arriver activity, check to see what Bible Games Central has to offer. They’ve got games for kids, youth, and adults, and you can search through their games based on age, topic, or Scripture reference. Some of the games even come with the free printables you need to play, and almost all of the games include discussion questions and lesson connections! Here are some of my favorites:

In this fun relay, teams eat their way to clues that reveal a Bible verse. Use this game to introduce the Bible story about Zacchaeus climbing a sycamore tree to see Jesus, or about Saul’s conversion.

Bible:  Luke 19:1-10; Acts 9:1-21

Ages: 6 and above

Group Size: 4 or more

Supplies: Transparent Cups, Permanent Marker, (or Paper, Pen and Sticky Tape), Snacks (whipped cream, corn flakes, milk or any other snacks you like), Tables, Spoons (and straws if you are using milk), Paper and Pens

Play a game of “raining” cornflakes into cups to introduce the Bible story about Jesus feeding the five thousand or about God “raining” down manna from heaven.

Bible:  Exodus 3:8,16:1-4,9-18,31; Matthew 14:13-21; 15:32-38; Mark 6:32-44; Luke 9:10-17; John 6:1-13

Ages: 6 to 14

Group Size: 2 or more

Supplies: Cornflakes (or other snacks), Spoons, Big Bowls, Cups

Players hunt for ten sheep that have been hidden. (With one sheep especially difficult to find.) Use this game to introduce the Parable of the Lost Sheep.

Bible:  Luke 15:1-7

Ages: 6 to 10

Group Size: 2 or more
