Prayer Pails – Summer Family Resource

Equip families with a “summer bucket list” type activity that’s focused on prayer and making prayer a daily habit! Through hands-on activities and simple prayer ideas using everyday objects, kids and families will be praying all summer long!

Prayer Pails is a creative, low-prep, simple resource designed to encourage daily prayer in a fun, interactive way. Pack a Prayer Pail for each family that includes a Prayer Activities list, a parent note of encouragement, a faith-based summer bucket list activity, and items that help families engage in prayer in a variety of ways, including bubbles, playdough, pipe cleaners, small notebooks, and more! You can choose to provide the hands-on prayer items or just give the printables provided in this download.

Families can pick one prayer activity each day, repeat their favorites, and use the Prayer Pail all summer long—whether at home, on vacation, or on the go. This resource helps build a simple rhythm of prayer that fits into real family life.

This resource was inspired by a Prayer Pail family resource I created several years ago that went along with a family retreat focused on prayer. The kids and families responded really well to having tangible reminders/ways to pray, and I hope your families love it too!
