I don’t know about you, but we love board games at our house! I’m always on the lookout for fun and new games, and when I heard about Bible Games Central’s latest games, the biblical themes and focus were a major bonus! Here are 3 new games from Bible Games Central we are loving:
Bible Match It Link It – This game is like the Bible version of Spot It, which has been my niece’s favorite game to play since she was little. Bible Match It Link It is a fast-paced game played with 57 unique octagonal tiles. Each tile has eight images, one on each edge of the octagon. On any 2 Bible Match It Link It tiles, there is always 1 (and only 1) matching image. I can’t wait to try out this Bible version with her this holiday season! I can already imagine the conversations it will spark as we explore the 4 different ways to play and read through the accompanying Bible story cards that teach about each symbol on the tiles. Mission: Ends of the Earth – My husband will be a rock star at this game (and full transparency, my competitive nature will be frustrated that he always wins). This game is highly strategic and requires that players place path tiles to help their “missionaries” get to their assigned villages to share the Gospel, all while collecting the right resources along the way. This game presents more of a challenge than some other games because of its strategic nature, but it’s a great way to talk about sharing the gospel to the ends of the earth. The Good Shepherd Card Game – This game gives me Exploding Kittens vibes, but on a much simpler and easy-to-play level. The goal is to collect the highest-scoring Sheep and Pasture cards, but other players can “Stampede” or “Wolf” your hand unless you have a Shepherd card to protect it! And what a great representation of real life: we (the sheep) need a Good Shepherd (Jesus) to protect us from the wolves and stampedes in our lives! Learn more about this game here.
