I don’t know about you, but the kids in my ministry love playing 4 corners! Now you can play a Christmas version of 4 Corners with this large-group game that gets kids moving and singing in the Christmas spirit!

Prep: In each corner of the room, tape up a piece of paper, one color per corner: blue, red, green, and white (or yellow).

Supplies: Christmas songs you can start/stop easily (on a CD player or through your sound system), a sheet of blue paper, a sheet of red paper, a sheet of green paper, and sheet of white (or yellow) paper, tape

Play: Play music and give kids time to move to their corners. Stop the music and call out a color. That corner must sing part of a Christmas song together. Play again as time allows. Come up with a list of your own Christmas songs or use the suggestions below:

  • Jingle Bells
  • We Wish You a Merry Christmas
  • Feliz Navidad
  • Away in a Manger
  • Frosty the Snowman
  • Angels We Have Heard On High
  • Go Tell It On the Mountain
  • Joy To The World
  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
  • Silent Night
  • The 12 Days of Christmas
  • Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
  • Deck the Halls
  • Santa Claus is Coming to Town

This game is one of the large-group games used in lesson 1 of A Praise in a Manger, a 4-week kids Christmas series focused on worship. Learn more about this unique, Christ-focused Christmas series here.
