Hey KidMin Leader,
You’re almost there! The final countdown to Easter Sunday is on, and I know what that means for you. It means extra crafts to prep, last-minute program changes, and either finalizing plans for your upcoming Easter event or reviewing the one that already happened. It means organizing lesson plans, confirming volunteers, and double-checking that every detail is ready for the biggest Sunday of the year.
It’s exciting. It’s exhausting. It’s Easter.
But before you dive into one more to-do list, can I remind you of something? You are doing holy work. Every plastic egg you stuff, every craft you cut out, every game you organize, and every Bible story you tell is a seed planted in a child’s heart. A seed that could grow into a lifelong faith in Jesus.
This Sunday isn’t just another Sunday. It’s the day we celebrate the greatest truth of our faith: Jesus is alive! It’s the day when children will hear, maybe for the very first time, that they are deeply loved by a Savior who conquered death for them. And YOU get to be the one to share that message. What a privilege. What an honor.
I know you’re tired. I know your feet will ache as you get all your steps in before 9am. Your voice might be hoarse, and you’ll be running on caffeine, sheer determination, a handful of Goldfish, and a whole lot of prayer. But I also know this: God sees you. He sees your late nights and early mornings. He sees your sacrifice, your service, and your heart for His kids. And He is with you in every single moment of the chaos.
So as you step into this Easter week, remember this: The empty tomb means your work is not in vain. What you do matters. The Gospel changes everything, and you get to be a part of sharing that Good News with the next generation.
Take a deep breath. Say a prayer. Trust that God will do more than you could ever ask or imagine. And then go share the greatest story ever told with the little hearts in your care.
Because Jesus is alive, and that changes everything.
Praying for you and cheering for you big!
Brittany

Thank you for this. It was very needed today!
So glad it was an encouragement!
Brittany, thank you for this word of encouragement! I needed it on this Tuesday morning (after a non-stop, late into the night Monday) of Holy Week. It’s not that you said anything I don’t already know. You didn’t point out truth that I’ve not been reminding myself during this busy season. But it just hits different when we hear God speak to us through the voice of another rather than the inner dialog. So thank you for being faithful to God’s prompting, and being a cheerleader for those of us “in the trenches” this week. May your Easter worship be blessed!
Michelle, I am so glad you’re here! Thank you for taking the time to respond, and know that I’m cheering for you! So glad these words were full of truths you already know but may need to be reminded of.
