Use this object lesson as part of your Easter teaching time, or print several copies of the second page to give out poppers to each child and send them home with a fun family Easter activity!

Turn the popper inside out and set it down. Wait for it to POP up! Jesus was buried, but He didn’t stay down. He rose UP from the grave, and He lives today! What a reason to celebrate!

1) Grab your popper and a Bible.

2) Turn the popper inside out and set it down. Wait for it to POP up!

3) Read Matthew 28:6-10 together.

4) Discuss:

  • What do you think the popper has to do with the story?
  • How do you think the women and disciples felt when they realized Jesus was alive?

5) Turn the popper inside out and set it down again. Wait for it to POP up! Jesus was buried, but He didn’t stay down. He rose UP from the grave, and He lives today! What a reason to celebrate!
