Easter season brings gifts, prizes, egg hunts, and more fun! But if you’ve worked with kids long, you know giving a room full of kids a bunch of sugar can lead to complete chaos. So I’ve been researching, and here are my 10 favorite non-candy Easter gifts/prizes/egg-stuffers for kids along with some links to the printables when possible! (Trust me, the parents in your ministry will appreciate the non-sugary gift!)

  1. Easter Slap Bracelets (These fit inside eggs perfectly when they’re rolled up!)
  2. These rubber poppers + this fun rubber popper family activity that remind kids Jesus is alive!
  3. Cross Pop Its (Kids are still so obsessed with pop its and fidget toys!)
  4. Bible Verse Rubber Bracelets (Kids can wear these year-round, and it helps them learn scripture!)
  5. Easter Cards (To put in the goody bags or folded up into eggs with a little note from you/your ministry!)
  6. Play Doh + This simple Easter lesson for preschoolers to share with families or use at church!
  7. Easter Story Snack Mix (OK so this one has M&Ms, but there’s more than just candy in there, and each element has a purpose!)
  8. Miniature notebooks (These don’t fit inside eggs, but they make great goody bag inserts or invite kids to use them throughout your Easter service to write or draw the Easter story!)
  9. Mini Jesus Figurine (Hide these all over the church and encourage kids to find them! Hear how one kidmin leader did this last year here.)
  10. Books! (So maybe everyone doesn’t get this prize, but here are 16 Easter books that share the Biblical story that make great grand prizes at your Easter event or as part of a giveaway on Easter Sunday!)
